Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS™) Training
The Assessment Training Center offers trainings for a wide variety of audiences, including teachers, administrators, directors, and regional staff. Below is an overview of each CLASS™ training with details on registration and links to more information.
CLASS™ Awareness and Overview Training
In this overview session, CEED trainers describe the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS™) framework and highlight the importance of teacher-child interactions on child social emotional and academic outcomes.
CLASS™ Observation Training
This two-day in person training offered by certified CLASS™ trainers covers the instrument and provides opportunities to score video segments in preparation for the online reliability testing. This training is for Minnesota residents only.
Trainings Scheduled--Register Online Individually
CLASS™ & Coaching: Putting CLASS into Practice Training
Putting CLASS™ into Practice is a two-day session intended for those who work in early childhood professional development and are already trained as a CLASS™ observer. This training equips supervisors, coordinators, trainers, and consultants to work with teachers on CLASS™ concepts and practices. Registrations from outside of Minnesota are also welcome.
