Individual Growth and Development Indicators (IGDIs) and Get It! Got It! Go! Training

The Individual Growth and Development Indicators (IGDIs) and Get It! Got It! Go! (GGG) training focuses on the IGDIs--language and literacy screening and progress monitoring tools for preschool-aged children. The training describes the measures, demonstrates standardized administration methods, and also covers use of GGG as a web-based data storage and management tool. This training can be customized to accommodate a group's prior experience with the IGDIs and GGG, from a focus on basic administration procedures to data interpretation and use within a problem solving model.

Learning Objectives

  • How to administer the IGDIs in a standardized manner
  • How to record and manage data
  • How to use data to make instructional decisions

Training Content

  • Basic review of language and literacy development in preschool children
  • IGDI research and development
  • IGDI administration
  • Using the Get It Got It Go! website to enter and manage data Interpreting IGDI data
  • Use of IGDI data within a problem-solving model
