Reflective Supervision Training

Working with infants, toddlers, and their parents is both rewarding and challenging, evoking powerful feelings in the professionals who deliver these relationship-based services. By "stepping back" to explore our observations, feelings, and actions, we can begin to understand our emotional responses. This practice of reflection helps us to remain emotionally available and connected to families--within appropriate professional boundaries--so that we can develop interventions that support the evolving relationship between the parent and child.
