Welcome to Curriculum & Instruction
The Department of Curriculum and Instruction is a network of over 50 education programs, including degrees, teacher licenses and certificates designed to prepare the next generation of leaders in education and researchers in the field. The department is recognized within the state of Minnesota, nationally and internationally as a leader in education scholarship and teacher preparation. Our faculty members are exceptional teachers, researchers, and collaborators with public schools. Our cooperative ventures with the large and diverse school districts of Minneapolis and St. Paul provide an ample space for our students to experiment, learn and grow within a real world context.
What you can expect

Students from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction accumulate a wide array of both illuminating and intellectually challenging experiences.
