Amy is a third year doctoral student at the Institute of Child Development, University of Minnesota.  She received her B.A. in psychology from Wellesley College in 2001 and her M.A. in child psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2007. 

Amy's interests lie in the early development of relational and physical aggression, particularly in the preschool years. Her current work focuses on factors influencing children’s engagement in aggression, such as physiological arousal, self and emotion regulation, and parenting practices.
