CRDEUL & PASS IT Host Release Party for New Book
PASS IT: Implementing Universal Design in Higher Education
All are invited to the official release party for the new PASS IT publication, Pedagogy and Student Services for Institutional Transformation: Implementing Universal Design in Higher Education, to be held June 26, 2008, at 12:00 noon. The new book is the long-awaited sequel to the popular (and out of print) Curriculum Transformation and Disability: Implementing Universal Design in Higher Education, which was published by CRDEUL in 2003.
Edited by Jeanne Higbee and Emily Goff, the new publication includes dozens of authors who write about such areas as theoretical frameworks, the classroom, academic support and student development programs and services, professional preparation, student perspectives, and administrative and practical considerations. Some of the best articles from CTAD were reprinted in this new publication, as well, so as not to lose those time-tested and important resources, but the majority are new chapters on this field.
Please plan on attending the release party in the CRDEUL offices, 340 Appleby Hall, 128 Pleasant Street SE, Minneapolis, MN. If you cannot attend, but would like a copy of the new book, you may contact Emily Goff at the PASS IT office (email@example.com) or download copy of the book [.pdf]
