New Department:
Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development

Effective July 1, 2009, a new department has been created that integrates the business and marketing education, human resource development and adult education, and comprehensive WHRE programs from the Department of Work and Human Resource Education (WHRE) into the department formerly known as Educational Policy and Administration (EdPA). The name of this new department is Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD). It will offer exciting opportunities for collaboration and interdisciplinary education and research. Click here for details.

 

Professional Development Events

Urban Leadership Academy (ULA)

In partnership with metro area school districts, the ULA program aims to further the professional development of new and experienced principals and future principals. Topical conferences, workshops and seminars are offered throughout the year, in addition to an annual summer institute.

MESI Institute

The Minnesota Evaluation Studies Institute, held each spring in the Twin Cities, features workshops given by some of the best-known evaluators in the country.

Evaluation Fellows Program (EFP)

NEW! The Evaluation Fellows Program (EFP) for 2009-2010 is a year-long, experiential, cohort-based professional development program for approximately 20 educational leaders, evaluators, funders, and policy makers/implementers.
