New Department:
Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development

Effective July 1, 2009, a new department has been created that integrates the business and marketing education, human resource development and adult education, and comprehensive WHRE programs from the Department of Work and Human Resource Education (WHRE) into the department formerly known as Educational Policy and Administration (EdPA). The name of this new department is Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development (OLPD). It will offer exciting opportunities for collaboration and interdisciplinary education and research. Click here for details.

 

Curriculum for the M.A. track in evaluation studies

Program core

(12 or more semester credits)

  • EDPA 5501 Principles & Methods of Program Evaluation (3 cr)
  • EDPA 8502 Program Evaluation Theory & Models (3 cr)
  • EDPA 5521 Cost and Economic Analysis in Education Evaluation (3 cr)
  • EDPA 5524 Evaluation Colloquium (1 cr. each of 3 semesters)

Related field

(7 or more semester credits)

  • EPSY 5221 Basic Principles of Education Measurement (4 cr)
  • EPSY 5261 or 8261 Introductory Statistical Methods (3 cr)

Methodology

(6 or more semester credits)

  • EDPA 5056 Case Studies (3 cr)

Plus one course to be determined in consultation with adviser

Plan B paper (Master's Paper)

  • EDPA 5096 Internship (2-4 credits)
