Organizational
Leadership, Policy,
and Development
Effective July 1, 2009, a
new department has been created
that integrates the business and
marketing education, human
resource development and adult
education, and comprehensive
WHRE programs from the
Department of
Work and Human Resource
Education (WHRE) into the
department formerly known as
Educational Policy and
Administration (EdPA). The
name of this new department is
Organizational Leadership,
Policy, and Development (OLPD).
It will offer exciting
opportunities for collaboration
and interdisciplinary education

Higher Education Admission Requirements
All components of the individual application records are considered in the admissions
process and decisions. Reviewers look for evidence that students can take advantage
of the programs academically and have career goals that match the program.
The program is selective and is limited to 25 students
each year. All new students begin the program in the fall semester.
Preferred performance levels:
- 3.0 or above undergraduate grade point average
- 3.5 or above graduate grade point average
- 500 Verbal, 500 Quantitative and 4.5 Analytical Writing
GRE scores (all students)
- 550 TOEFL/6.5
IELTS scores (international students)
The program is selective and is limited to 10 students
each year. All new students begin the program in the fall semester.
Required:
- A master’s degree or equivalent
Preferred performance levels:
- 3.0 or above undergraduate grade point average
- 3.5 or above graduate grade point average
- All students: 500 Verbal, 500 Quantitative and 4.5 Analytical Writing Graduate Record
Examination (GRE) scores [NOTE to applicants from the People's Republic of China, Korea, Taiwan,
and Hong Kong: Please check for
details about new GRE testing schedule.]
- International students: 550 on Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
or 6.5 on International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
