The M.Ed. in special education coincide with the licensures and specializations available in Minnesota as follows:

**If you are interested in licensure in Blind/Visual Impairment please go to the Minnesota Collaborative Preparation Program for Teachers of the Blind or Visually Impaired webpage on the Metro ECSU website. Licensure requirements

Prior equivalent coursework may be substituted for some courses. You and your advisor will review specific requirements once you are admitted. Course requirements vary by licensure program.
