Internships

An important mission for the WCFCC is to prepare the next generation of providers in dementia care. Whether you are an undergraduate student or a Masters or Ph.D. student we welcome you as a learner.

Each internship is tailored to each student's learning needs and future professional development. The WCFCC offers a unique opportunity to work directly with families living with dementia, research opportunities to support this effort, and program design experience.

We can support interns who are completing their Undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota. Yearly, we also provide new opportunities to Masters and Ph.D. level interns who are studying at various Marriage and Family Therapy Programs, Social Work Programs, Psychiatric Nursing, Music Therapy, as well as others.
