Research Interests

Heather is working on research projects that explore the use of technology in family systems. In particular, she is interested in how emerging and young adults are using technology with both near and extended family members. Her clinical work has focused on the treatment of eating disorders (The Emily Program) and substance use disorders (Eden House at RS EDEN), and on incorporating mindfulness into therapy. She is also interested in how emerging technologies can be used by clinicians to provide effective therapy.
