The Cognitive Developmental Neuroimaging Lab (CDN Lab)
is located in the Institute of Child Development at the University
of Minnesota.
Research in the CDN Lab explores
the development and neural bases of learning, memory, and attention
during infancy through early adolescence. We use structural
and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), as well as
diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) to investigate how changes in
children's cognitive development relates to brain development.
Our work includes not only studies of typical
cognitive development, but also examines the effects of subtle
neurological insults on later cognitive and brain function.
Over the past years we have welcomed the
participation of thousands of children and their families from the
local community. If you would like to find out more about our
studies please feel free to explore our site or contact our lab.
