Orientation and First Year Programs
A graduate student orientation is held every August.

University libraries

Housing
New graduate students can start their search at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Housing and Residential Life Web site at www.umn.edu/housing/student/. Living arrangements for single individuals as well as family/partnered housing can be found here. Information is also given about where to find off campus housing. New students can also go to the Star Tribune’s Web page and look for rental information: www.startribune.com/rent/.
