Profile

Louis N. Quast holds the Hellervik / PDI Distinguished Chair in Leadership and Adult Career Development, and serves as the Coordinator of Graduate Programs in Human Resource Development, the Director of Graduate Studies for the Graduate Minor in Integrative Leadership, and a senior lecturer in both the Carlson School of Management and the Department of Educational Psychology. In addition, he is a Research Fellow at the Consortium for Multicultural Psychology Research at Michigan State University. Louis teaches courses on cross-cultural leadership, career-development, and human resource development, and conducts research on multiple aspects of these related fields. His service work includes a number of professional engagement projects including hosting a symposium on Best Practices in Leadership Development, and working with a cross-sector team to host a workshop for Job Loss Counselors and Related Professionals. He continues to work as a Principal Consultant in the Leadership and Talent Consulting practice of Korn Ferry Hay Group, focusing primarily on designing and delivering leadership development interventions for large public and private-sector organizations across the United States and in a number of countries around the world.
