Downstream of Everywhere

My name is Thomas Georgiou and I am a freshman at the University of Minnesota's College of Science and Engineering majoring in mechanical engineering. Although I was born and raised in Minnesota, my family is from Greece and i've had the good fortune of going back every year to visit relatives and friends. Returning every year i've also seen the increasing pollution in many of Greece's gorgeous beaches, which is why I made this video to inform people that there is hope for cleaning the oceans, and that it must begin with an end to this 'throwaway' lifestyle the world has now adopted.
