International Field Placements

In an increasingly globalized world, international field internships help promote understanding of global problems and of the ways other countries are trying to address them.
Therefore, the School of Social Work believes it is important to promote social work practice in an international context.
For tips on researching international internships, see the extensive list put together by M.S.W. graduate Amanda Loge.
Amanda is one of the school's several recent students who took international placements. Their reports are published here:
From Abigail Gadea in Honduras
From Amanda Loge in Peru: Report I; Report II; Report III
See the field manual for guidelines for setting up your own national or international placement.
