 How safe are LGBTQ youth in Minnesota schools? An examination of school climate and bullying

Team: Colleen Fisher (PI) and Lynette M. Renner (co-PI)

Objectives:

Status: This project was one of 29 research studies conducted at the 2014 Minnesota State Fair as part of the University’s Driven to Discover initiative.  A total of 788 high-school students from Minnesota participated in the online survey.  Data analyses and dissemination activities are ongoing.

Microaggressions, bullying & bystander behavior: Investigating LGBTQ student wellbeing in Minnesota

Team: Lynette M. Renner (PI) and Colleen Fisher (co-PI)

Objectives:

Status: This project was one of 41 research studies conducted at the 2015 Minnesota State Fair as part of the University’s Driven to Discover initiative.  A total of 956 high-school and college students from Minnesota participated in the online survey.  Data analyses and dissemination activities are ongoing.
