Dr. Lightfoot has an extensive background in Public Policy with a specialization in disability policy and services.  Dr. Lightfoot is the Principle Investigator on “Disability Plans and Minnesota’s Child Protection Agencies” project, and continues to conduct research in the area of child protection and disabilities.
