MSW Minors
Students may include a minor field of study in addition to their MSW program. Minors are available in many areas of study outside of the School of Social Work.
Completing a designated minor generally requires additional credits which will lengthen the time required to complete the MSW. It may also require an oral examination that focuses on all coursework taken in the major and minor areas of study.
For more information, contact the department that offers the minor field of study and see the Graduate School Catalog for course offerings and departmental requirements.
When taking courses outside of social work, students should check with the MSW Program Director to determine whether the courses are offered for graduate credit.
