New Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development
Effective July 1, 2009, a new department has been created that integrates the business and marketing education, human resource development and adult education, and comprehensive WHRE programs from the Department of Work and Human Resource Education (WHRE) into the department formerly known as Educational Policy and Administration (EdPA). The name of this new department is Organizational Leadership, Policy and Development (OLPD). It will offer exciting opportunities for collaboration and interdisciplinary education and research. Click here for details.

Adult Education Faculty Advisers

The adult education advisers represent an interdisciplinary group of faculty who are all members of the Department of Work and Human Resource Education.

Applicants for an M.Ed. degree will receive a letter specifying their adviser. Applicants for an M.A. or a doctoral degree will receive a letter after application materials have been reviewed listing advisers who are willing to work with that student. Students are encouraged to visit with suggested advisers to select the faculty member with whom they wish to work. Advisers may be changed by notifying the director of graduate studies, James M. Brown, of such a decision.
