Instructor Support Services

The Academic Technology Services team supports instructors to help develop creative and high-quality, technology-enhanced approaches for the classroom.

We encourage you to submit a proposal for an academic technology project, complete a video request, or contact us to schedule a brainstorming session.

Examples of Our Services

  • Project brainstorming: Our team is available to meet with you to brainstorm ways to meet your students' learning needs through learning technologies. Whether you're a novice or an experienced user of academic technology, we can help you navigate the array of instructionally effective solutions.
  • Instructional design consulting: We can guide your project throughout all phases of the process including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Applying a systematic process to the development of your academic technology project will ensure that it is motivating, engaging, and instructionally effective.
  • Online course, module, and tutorial development: Whether you're creating a new course or repurposing an existing course, our team is here to help. A common misconception is that converting a course to online is quick and simple, but in fact it takes time and careful consideration to adapt instructional strategies from an in-person to online format.
  • Video production: We can help you envision, script, produce, record, edit, and distribute digital media for use in your class, department, center, or project. Complete a video request form »
  • New media and web development: If you need to develop a customized, web-based learning experience for students, our team can work with you to identify how to best meet the learning objectives in a media-rich environment.
  • Project management services: Our team can manage your project from conception to implementation, working with you to identify project milestones, deliverables, and keep the project moving toward successful completion.
