Get Started with Academic Technology

If you're interested in getting started with academic technology but aren't sure where to start, consider the following:
  1. Schedule a brainstorming session with your Instructional Technology Fellow. IT Fellows are always happy to meet with you to review your course goals and suggest learning tools and approaches to help you meet your goals.
  2. Schedule a brainstorming meeting with ATS staff to discuss video projects, online or hybrid courses, instructional modules and tutorials, or other projects. Email the ATS team at cehdats@umn.edu.
  3. Take a course from The University Technology Training Center.
  4. Watch our showcase video.
  5. Talk to other instructors, especially those who have been through the Treks program (contact Sheila for names).
  6. Sign up for the Treks program, offered in summer.
