Treks: Get Inspired

Treks is an innovative professional development program designed to support instructors' exploration and integration of instructional technologies. The program provides designated time for instructors to explore the ever-expanding array of learning technologies and tools available at the University of Minnesota as well as best practices for using them to enhance student learning and engagement.

Treks participantsOverview

Treks will begin this summer with two track options:

Each track consists of several days of intensive exploration, which includes guided demonstrations, opportunities for hands-on exploration, discussion, and consultations with the academic technology team and faculty peers. Both tracks begin with a half-day kickoff event.

Instructors are welcome to attend both tracks but will need to apply for each separately.

The application period for the 2012 Treks program is now closed.
