National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)
Minnesota Board of Teaching (BOT)
October 15-19, 2005

The National Council on Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) granted full continuing accreditation with every standard met. No areas were cited as needing improvement. The Minnesota Board of Teaching (BOT) granted full unit approval to offer licensure programs. All BOT standards were met with no areas of weakness cited. These conclusions are evidence of steady improvement of all of our educator preparation programs. Particular note was made about our outstanding partnerships with schools, strong advising, a commitment to diversity, dynamic faculty, strong candidates, technology integration and support, collaboration within the college, and the Teacher Education Data System (TEDS).
