What gets you excited about work?

Taking something mundane like exercise, and turning it into a fun, educational experience.

What professors were most influential during your time in CEHD?

Stacy Ingraham and Donald Dengal.

What skills are important to succeed as a young professional today?

My college track coach, Phil Lundin, expressed the need for flexibility when coaching others. I always remember that advice and implement it into business, family, and life.

If you could have coffee with anyone from history, who would it be?

Martin Luther King, Jr. and Frederick Douglass. Both men to me represent a life that was spent educating, empowering, and fighting for others. It would be great to hear how they personally felt their lives were spent and what changes they would make if given another chance.

What is a "fun fact" about you?

While in college, I worked at Domino's Pizza and Blockbuster Video. I wrote a mini-business plan for getting pizzas and movies delivered to the home. Still pending...

What was the impact and benefit of your experience in CEHD?

My education has afforded me the tools and resources to chase my dreams and help as many people as I can along the way.
