As Associate Director for Evaluation Services I serve on CAREI's leadership team to provide evaluation expertise and support on a variety of projects relating to education policy, teacher professional development, program effectiveness in k-12 schools, community colleges, non-profit organizations, and the University of Minnesota. I have over 18 years of experience in designing and conducting program evaluations and survey research.

I am particularly interested in evaluator practices and working with organizations to develop sustainable evaluation processes to help guide program decisions. I have broad experience as a researcher and manager of complex evaluation projects in government, non-profit, and education settings. Before joining CAREI I was assistant director at the St. Norbert College Survey Center in DePere, Wisconsin, as well as a strategic planning consultant to the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin and researcher at the College of Menominee Nation (CMN).  I have also held research analyst and consultant positions in evaluation organizations including MGT of America, Inc., and the Florida Center for Public Management at Florida State University. My government and non-profit organization experiences include working for the Florida Department of Labor and Employment Security, the Office of the Governor in Florida - Governor's Press Office and Office of the General Counsel, and the Florida Center for Children and Youth.

My most recent evaluation projects at CAREI include the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota - Minneapolis Public Schools' True Foods Program, Social Innovation Fund/United Way Evaluation, Teacher as Scientist (TAS) Grant, McKnight Foundation Education and Learning Program, 360 Communities-Partners for Success Program Social Return on Investment, and Hennepin Technical College Manufacturing Assessment and Advancement Center (MAAC).
