2010 Family, Friend, and Neighbor Conference

Connection, Information, and Innovation: Family, Friend and Neighbor Caregiving in Minnesota

Monday, June 28, 2010, 10:00am-4:30pm

Continuing Education and Conference Center, University of Minnesota, St. Paul

This was the first ever event for professionals who work with Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) caregivers, building on over a decade of groundbreaking work in FFN in Minnesota. This conference was intended for people who are working with FFN caregivers (formally or informally) and/or have an interest in developing a program to work with FFN caregivers and wanted to know what is happening in Minnesota. Presentations and posters highlighted current work that programs are doing with FFN throughout the state. Participants were encouraged to interact with presenters throughout the day, and the conference concluded with a session on creating a community of practice.
