The purpose of this institute is to strengthen the knowledge, skills, strategies, and alliances of those who work with expectant families, infants, toddlers, parents and communities to build a strong foundation for healthy development.

Following the highly successful format of CEED's Summer Institute and research demonstrating the effectiveness of longer training sessions in adult education, Strong Foundations has moved to an institute format in 2012. It enables you to:

  • Delve deeply into one topic for two days
  • Hear keynote presentations that will provide an overview across specialties
  • Maintain focus on networking across early childhood professions, with dedicated and facilitated networking time
