About the Institute

The Minnesota Early Intervention Summer Institute is a unique professional development opportunity provided to the early childhood field through sponsorship by the Minnesota Department of Education.

Gain new insights and develop new skills for your work with young children and families. Enjoy the traditional activities that Summer Institute participants have enjoyed through the years, including the lunchtime barbeque and the evening wine and dessert reception hosted by Minnesota DEC. You’ll find the lusciously landscaped and serene campus of St. John's University provided the perfect setting for learning, reflection, and rejuvenation.

Academic Credit

One graduate academic credit can be earned and tuition is an additional $115. If you wish to receive graduate academic credit, check the box on the registration form and you will be contacted regarding how to pay your tuition fee.

Registration and cancellation deadline: Wednesday, June 6, 2012

Registration fee: $85 (no late fee)

Registration fee includes:

  • CEU certificate
  • Lodging (shared dorm room) for Wednesday and Thursday, June 13 and 14 (or upgrade to single room for $10)
  • Meals
    • Thursday breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert reception
    • Friday breakfast and lunch
