Instructional Support for Coaches

Free to Parent Aware Coaches and PDAs!

NOTE: If you are a Parent Aware coach or PDA registering for this training, please use the code PAware on the payment page--insert this code in the appropriate box. Eligibility will be confirmed with DHS and the CCA Coordinating office before your registration is accepted.

This workshop is designed for coaches and others who are responsible for facilitating educators’ interaction skills as described in the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS™) tool. The session prepares coaches, consultants, supervisors, and trainers to aid teachers in strengthening concept development, quality of feedback, and language modeling in interactions and activities. The session includes analyzing key characteristics of each dimension, identifying interaction opportunities, and practicing coaching strategies for supporting teacher growth in these key interaction qualities.

Prerequisites to attend this training are to:

Out-of-state participants are welcome at this training.

Cost: $100

Hours: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Lunch is not included; however, a lunch break will be provided.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel your registration at least 14 days before the start date of the training, a full refund will be made.
  • If you cancel your registration less than 14 days before the start date of the training, no refund will be given.
