Instructional Support for Teachers

Free to Parent Aware Coaches and PDAs!

NOTE: If you are a Parent Aware coach or PDA registering for this training, please use the code PAware on the payment page--insert this code in the appropriate box. Eligibility will be confirmed with DHS and the CCA Coordinating office before your registration is accepted.

Instructional Support for Teachers is a four-hour session for preschool teachers and child care providers who may have an introductory knowledge of the CLASS™ tool and desire to look more closely at the Instructional Support dimensions. This workshop will prepare educators to implement the classroom interaction strategies of concept development, quality of feedback, and language modeling. The training includes a review of CLASS™ dimensions, description of the instructional support dimensions, identification of strategies that increase instructional support interactions, and practicing of those strategies.

Out-of-state participants are welcome at this training.

Hours: 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel your registration at least 14 days before the start date of the training, a full refund will be made.
  • If you cancel your registration less than 14 days before the start date of the training, no refund will be given.
