We gave a presentation describing the current work of our Institute at the
Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) Convention in Vancouver on April 7, 2000. We have
reproduced the slides from this presentation below.

Childhood Research Institute on Measuring Growth and Development encourage
dissemination of the project's goals and products, we kindly ask to receive credit
whenever our work is displayed or disseminated to others.
We also strongly caution against actual use of the indicators we are testing to
monitor the developmental growth of young children and/or assess the effectiveness of
interventions. These indicators are still in development, with ongoing data being
collected to see if these measures meet all of the criteria required of valid and reliable
assessment tools.
