Awards are available to the following student groups, although awards may not be available every semester. See individual award listings and forms for availability and deadlines.
Scholarships are listed alphabetically by name of scholarship and/or last name of the donor.

Alumni Society Advanced Study Scholarship
Amount: $1,000. Up to two scholarships can be
awarded, depending on availability of funds.

Criteria: Applicants must have been admitted to an advanced study program (M.A., M.Ed., M.S.W., Ph.D., specialist certificate, or Ed.D.) and, at time of application, earned a minimum of 9 credits within that program, have a minimum GPA of 3.8, and be a full-time student enrolled in fall semester.
Application: Complete information on requirements, eligibility and application is available online. The online application, online faculty recommendation and supporting materials must all be submitted by the stated deadline.
Alumni Society Larry Wilson Scholarship
Amount: $1,000. Up to two scholarships can be
awarded, depending on availability of funds.

Criteria: Applicants must be a full-time enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in college programs who have career objectives related to non-school-based education. Undergraduate applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and have earned a minimum of 15 credits at time of application. Graduate applicants must have a minimum 3.8 GPA and have earned a minimum of 9 credits at time of application.

Lawrence Scott Doss Memorial Scholarship
Amount: $500

Criteria: Applicant must be a student studying in the area of special education with a preference for students focusing on developmental disabilities.

Criteria: Applicants must be female students accepted into, or enrolled in, the initial teacher licensure program in physical education or in a graduate program which would likely lead to a career in college teaching or adult education in physical education and/or sport.

Lesley Dahl Rylander Endowed Scholarship Fund in Elementary Special Education
Amount: $1,000

Criteria: Applicant must be a student in the initial licensure program in elementary education with a special interest in working in special education at that level.
