CGC admission timeline

Because a limited number of CGC financial packages are available, the following guidelines will be applied:

  • Program application deadlines—M.Ed./professional studies program deadlines are listed on the M.Ed./professional studies application form. Graduate School program application deadlines are listed on the Web.
  • CGC application deadline—December 15
  • Program admission decisions announced—January-March
  • CGC award decisions announced—May

Students accepted into the CGC program must attend an orientation session during the summer at the University of Minnesota campus. Orientation travel and housing expenses will be covered by CGC. Information on program registration and advising will be available at orientation.

CGC will attempt to identify other funding sources for students who are not able to secure CGC financial packages. Students will have the option to delay entry or to seek alternative funding.
