Biography

Hello, my name is Brad Hardin. I was born and raised in North Carolina. I attended Deaf School in Greensboro and later transferred to a mainstream setting. After graduating from high school, I attended Lenoir-Rhyne College and graduated with a B.A. in sports management. I have always dreamed of becoming a coach. Eventually I went to UNC-Greensboro and graduated with a B.S. in American Sign Language (ASL) teacher licensure. Getting involved in sports and teaching ASL are my passions. I obtained a master’s degree in ASL education from Gallaudet University.

I’ve aspired to teach Deaf culture and ASL to students at the university level. My goal is to demonstrate for students what ASL fluency and literacy looks like through technology. I have mastery ability in editing videos and incorporating technology into ASL classrooms. During my spare time I’m involved in the community, enjoy watching sports, and traveling.
