Experiential learning resources

Experiential learning is "learning by doing." It is a great way for students to gain experience and helps connect classroom theory to the "real world." It also allows students to test drive their career choice to see if there is a fit and develop the skills employers seek.

CEHD Career Services encourages students to engage in experiential learning opportunities early in their academic career. CEHD Career Services defines early engagement as student involvement in learning opportunities outside the classroom during their first and second year. Early engagement allows students to take an active role in testing their interests and developing skills.
