Helping Korean Families Raise Healthy Children
Dr. Son received her Ph.D. from the Department of Family Social Science, working with Dr. Kathryn Rettig. After returning to Korea, Dr. Son continued promoting positive parenting. In addition to undergraduate teaching, Dr. Son and her students work in "healthy family support centers" - outreach centers that provide family life education and programming throughout the community, similar to our Extension Outreach programming.
