Two-day Training: Desired Results Developmental Profile Monday, April 13, 2015 | 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

University of Minnesota St. Paul Student Center

April 13-14, 2015

The Desired Results Developmental Profile is a Parent Aware recognized child assessment tool for use by family child care providers, teachers in child care centers, school districts, and special education programs for measuring child development, curriculum planning purposes, communication with parents, and monitoring child growth. The DRDP (2015) is an all-inclusive assessment instrument for use with children from birth through kindergarten entry and is completed twice a year. The same layout and terms are used for all ages and allow educators to share and use the assessment information across settings to improve the quality of early child care.

The training introduces the four new English Language Development measures for English language learners. Day 1 (Desired Results Developmental Profile-2015) introduces practitioners and administrators to the DRDP (2015) use, terms, and layout. Day 2 (Meaningful Observation) focuses on strategies to document and rate child growth using the DRDP (2015).

Cost: $140 per person
