Applied behavior analysis

Professionals in applied behavior analysis (ABA) use the scientific principles of behavior analysis to address specific behavioral needs in individuals.

The college’s applied behavior analysis program prepares teachers and related service personnel to design and deliver services to pre-school children and youth with developmental and acquired disabilities.

Program highlights

Interdisciplinary study: This program is offered by the college's Department of Educational Psychology in conjunction with the Department of Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts.

Practicum: The program offers students hands-on experience in ABA through a three-credit practicum course.
