Culture and teaching
The study of culture and teaching seeks to understand how
educators’ and learners’ identities and experiences influence
teaching, learning, and learning to teach.
The college’s culture and teaching program prepares students for
positions not only as faculty members in higher education, but also
for leadership roles in local, national, and international
communities.
Program highlights
Interdisciplinary study:
Students in the program can choose courses from a variety of
subject areas, including anthropology, educational policy and
administration, and sociology.
