Parent education
Parent education programs focus on enhancing parenting practices
and behaviors, such as positive discipline techniques, play and
interaction between parents and children, and access to community
services and supports.
The college’s parent education certificate program prepares
students to plan, coordinate, and teach parent education courses for
families with children from early childhood through adolescence.
