Principal license

Do you want to develop a well-researched vision and implement it in a school? Do you have a commitment to supporting teachers who make a difference? Do you want to transform student learning and local communities? If so, consider the college's licensure program for K-12 school principals.

Researchers at the Center for Applied Research and Educational Improvement have reported that school leadership "is second only to teaching among school-related factors in its impact on student learning." Make your own impact.

Program highlights

Convenient course times: Courses are offered throughout the year with evening courses offered during fall, spring, and summer semesters, and day courses offered during summer semester.

Program length: On average students complete the program in just three to six semesters. Most students in the program are practicing teachers.

Additional qualifications: A unique feature of the certificate with licensure program is the option of adding additional certificates, degrees, and licenses for few additional credits, as the core licensure courses apply to multiple options. See the Only At The U matrix [.pdf].
