Quantitative methods in education
In the field of quantitative methods
in education (QME), students learn to develop tests and surveys used to
collect data in educational settings, analyze these data with statistical
procedures, and evaluate educational programs.
The goal of the QME emphasis is to provide students with broad but
rigorous methodological skills so they may conduct research on
methodologies, train others in methodology, and have
the skills necessary to conduct research in related fields.
