Work and human resource education
Formerly know as vocational/technical (or vo-tech) education, the work
and human resource education program is for students whose professional
roles are enhanced by coursework in adult
education;
agricultural, food, and environmental education; business and industry
education; and human resource
development.
This field of study attracts teachers, coordinators, supervisors,
trainers, youth workers, community-based educators, extension educators, and
others.
Program highlights
Licensure preparation:
CEHD is one of only two places in the state where you can
prepare for a license to teach in technical colleges and related
high school programs.
National ranking:
The program is offered by the Department of Work and Human
Resource Education, ranked fourth in the nation for vocational
education in
U.S. News and World Report.
Program length:
Attending full time (including summers) students often can
complete the M.A. degree requirements in one calendar year.
