Interdisciplinary focus: Middle school

If you are a licensed teacher interested in interdisciplinary study, this program will provide the opportunity to explore the emerging themes, curriculum materials, and instructional methods influencing middle schools and high schools around the country.

For students working toward an M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction, we offer the option of taking subject-matter specific methods courses from a range of different disciplinary areas rather than taking methods courses exclusively in one area.

Program highlights

Interdisciplinary study: Students are encouraged to pursue coursework in a number of different areas to develop instructional competency in a variety of subjects.

Hands-on experience: The program emphasizes extensive field experience in classrooms.

Choice of location: This program is also offered on the Rochester campus.
