Reading

This field of study is designed for education professionals who are interested in adding to their knowledge and skills in the increasingly important area of literacy development.

The reading licensure program develops leadership skills as well as content skills, enabling students to work as literacy leaders in their schools and districts as well as work effectively with children in their respective classrooms.

Program highlights

Community outreach: The college is home to the Literacy Initiative, a collaborative outreach program designed to raise the literacy rates of Twin Cities children
