The Minnesota / Texas Adoption Research Project- (MTARP, Hal Grotevant Principal Investigator) A longitudinal, multi-site project aimed at understanding the experiences of adoptive kinship networks having different levels of openness in their relationships.
Sibling Interaction and Behavior Study - (SIBS, Matt McGue Principal Investigator) An on-going, longitudinal study of 400 adoptive families and 200 non-adoptive (biological) families aimed at understanding family environment and genetic influences on adolescent adjustment.
Context, Comorbidity, and Development of Suicidal Behavior among Rural Adolescents – A study using 15 waves of annually collected information about family characteristics in more than 500 families. The study is aimed at understanding family context and developmental processes lead to suicidal behavior among rural adolescents.
