Educational Offerings
Our educational sessions emphasize the use of family interventions and family communities to bring about emotional connection, finding and sharing of personal wisdom, and achieving a balance between the illness life and family life. Our focus is not simply on the care provided by family members in the community. We recognize that care provided by professionals in community and long-term care settings also reflect the values of family centered care.
We recognize the importance of providing timely, applied educational opportunities for families living with the illness, professionals supporting families and persons with dementia, and students, the professionals of the future.
