Family Meetings
As a means to understand family dynamics that are unique to each family, it is important for Wayne Caron Family Caregiving Center staff to meet individually with each family before entering WCFCC services. Before your meeting occurs, you will complete a thorough telephone consultation with WCFCC staff.
To supplement group meetings, families are offered individual family consultation sessions. These are usually one-time meetings in which WCFCC facilitate a family dialogues and discussions on key issues. Families can request these meetings at any time during the illness journey, but oftentimes, families use these services when key decisions must be made, or a family crisis has occurred.
